1968
The germ of an idea matures into a concept and the concept is transformed into an ingenious product – the OCTANORM Exhibition Stand System. Devised by Hans Staeger, the system is presented for the first time at the EuroShop trade fair in Düsseldorf.
1969
Foundation of OCTANORM-Vertriebs-GmbH für Bauelemente. From the very start, OCTANORM sets about identifying and consistently applying the latest developments in both technology and design.
From the outset, OCTANORM pursues a marketing strategy that is based on a partnership concept. We maintain a constant dialogue with all our partners, because it is only by listening and understanding what is really needed that we can be in a position to provide the products and services required.

1st participation in EuroShop in Düsseldorf.

2nd participation in EuroShop in Düsseldorf.
1974
The OCTANORM-Vertriebs-GmbH moves to Filderstadt Bonlanden where 1000 sqm of office and storage space are available.
1975
3rd participation in EuroShop in Düsseldorf.
1978
OCTANORM decides to branch out into the shop display and interior fittings market by introducing the newline corpus program.
1981
Move to the new offices in Raiffeisenstrasse 23 with additional 1300 sqm of office and storage space.
1984
6th participation in EuroShop in Düsseldorf.
The OSPI network is created; the 1st OSPI Meeting takes place at EuroShop. The storage area is enlarged by 2000 sqm with a new hall.

III. OSPI Meeting in Brazil.
1987
7th participation in EuroShop in Düsseldorf.
Presentation of the OCTAcad software program at EuroShop.
1988
IV. OSPI Meeting in Canada.
Move to larger offices and expansion of storage capacity in Raiffeisenstrasse 39.

VI. OSPI Meeting on the Philippines.

Further diversification is achieved, this time into the presentation systems sector.

At the age of 67, Hans Staeger retires from business and turns over the sole management to Hans Bruder.

10 years of participation in EuroShop.
