Early December 2018, over 200 members of the OCTANORM Service Partners International network OSPI from 32 countries got together in Cape Town, South Africa to collaborate, network and exchange knowledge with their peers. For one week, current developments and future trends were discussed at length. In various workshops the participants shared their international experiences and advanced strategies. During a Silent Auction, donations were collected for the Hope and Light Community Welfare organization, which actively supports children in need.

In order to give all participants an impression of the worldwide projects of the various partners, we organised a stand design competition. Members were invited in advance submit their work from the past two years in three different categories. An anonymous vote was then held on site and the winning candidates were chosen. Congratulations to everyone! We are always thrilled to see the creative and innovative ways in which our products are used around the world.

Thanks to many years of partnership between most of the members, topics can be discussed openly. Everyone benefits from each other‘s experience and has access to a huge pool of knowledge. This is particularly vital in projects across country borders, for nobody knows the market as well as your local partner. In this network, 200 experienced creative minds all pull together and develop ideas. They set impulses for the futures of the global exhibition market. In addition to the daily conferences, joint activities and experiences strengthened cohesion of the partners - like, for example, a common celebration on the occasion of the
50th anniversary of OCTANORM in 2019.

Our thanks go to all participants for this successful meeting. We look forward to seeing everybody again in Lisbon, Portugal in 2021!
