Slanted groove. Without profile edges

Visible frame edges are a thing of the past now. The new profiles allow for a complete cladding with tension fabric, even of edges. Thanks to the new groove, slanted at 30°, the silicon edges are firmly tightened around the profile.

The solution for fabric corners.

OCTAlumina plus completely focuses on the image. Even in corners. Graphics are only separated by a 2 mm thin profile edge in the corners for a virtually seamless picture.

Build enclosed, freestanding rooms with OCTAlumina plus. If desired, also add flush-mounted illuminated doors. Create an impressive ambience that captivates the visitor and creates a lasting effect.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

Perfect light distribution

The light distribution of the single LEDs is perfectly adjusted for each of the different profile depths and surface areas, always aiming for a homogeneous, shadow-free illumination of your graphics. With the help of special u-screens, unicolored and even white surfaces are illuminated spot-free, ensuring a perfect result.

Neutral color rendering

The used LED modules emit light at 6500 kelvin. Corresponding with the D65 classification of the CIE 1931 color space, this color temperature is equal to neutral daylight. This means your graphics are illuminated completely neutral, without yellow or blue tints. Another advantage: the color rendering can be simulated for the prepress of your digital printer, allowing for exact adjustments.

Bright illumination with Power-LEDs

Each LED has a rather high wattage of 2.2 watts. The amount of LED modules is calculated to ensure an outstanding, bright illumination at all times. If you wish to have even brighter illumination, more LEDs can be installed as well. All light box components are electromagnetically tolerant and have the respective certificates.

New: starting from November 2016, we solely use our newly developed LED modules which are up to 40% lighter than the previous modules. Your advantage: more performance, same price.
And not only is the brightness increased. Also, light spots are almost completely eliminated.

Low-maintenance and environment friendly

LED technology offers a lot of advantages over conventional light bulbs. Our high-quality LED modules are low-maintenance, have long operating times and need up to 95% less energy compared to conventional technology. Another plus: the constant current technology ensures a longer life cycle of the power supply units, as well as a constant light emission from your LEDs without brightness fluctuations.

Easily combined with other systems

Each profile depths on offer is compatible with other systems: OCTALUMINA 40 is perfect in combination with OCTAWALL 40, the OCTALUMINA 80 creates a flush front in combination with 80 mm MAXIMA profiles, the sturdy, space creating OCTALUMINA 120 is ideally combined with OCTAWALL CUSTOM.

With or without system groove

OCTALUMINA 120 and 80 captivate with their pristine, smooth aluminium surface without system groove, and are ideal for all applications that do not ask for the connection of further OCTANORM components. Of course, drillings for a comfortable connection with tension locks or hammerhead screws are possible on request. The OCTALUMINA 40 in 950 × 2480 mm (Art. OL 415) is provided with a system groove for combination with OCTAWALL 40 by default.

High resolution and brilliant colors

The high printing quality of 1000 dpi allow for breathtaking renditions of even the smallest details. Thanks to the UV colors, the fabric stays flexible and the print is brilliant and with high contrasts. This way, you can see details even in darker areas. The fabric is suitable for reflected as well as transmitted light, tear proof, and slightly elastic for a hassle-free installation in the light box. The CNC laser cutting and assembly with silicon edges with special sewing machines ensure a perfect fit. All backlit fabrics have a B1 certificate (hard to ignite).

Free-standing displays are a popular classic. No wonder: a multitude of possible applications, quick and easy assembly, and homogeneous illumination turn them into an all-rounder at exhibitions and events. You think big? OCTAlumina 120 | 80 | single-sided | double-sided

The light frames without footplates are very well suited for integration into existing walls and constructions. Previously introduced slits and holes open up all possibilities of the OCTANORM system world. If a flush front is desired, maxima square profiles of 80 mm and 120 mm are suitable. The combination with OCTAwall custom with 120 mm is interesting for anyone who wants a completely veneering look without a visible system.

Cube

Light has an impact. Especially when your advertisments are floating above your customers, perfectly illuminated and visible.
Suspended cubes are popular, because your ad can be seen on all 5 sides. The OCTALUMINA cube captivates with its straight edges and minimalistic frame design. The low weight enables you to create large-scale cubes with an edge length of up to 2.5 m. The lighting is adjusted specifically to the edge length of each illuminated cube to ensure a homogeneous and bright illumination.

The OCTAlumina toolless frame is completely toolless. A well thought-out spring mechanism makes the profiles snap in with a click. Combinable LED modules and swivelling base plates complete the overall package. The frames are available in the sizes from B 900 × H 1500 mm to B 3000 × H 2500 mm. In short: A light frame that fits in every car boot and can be installed in a few minutes!
