On 30th June 2023, Hans Bruder will retire after 45 years of service. At the same time, Benjamin Bruder, who has been running the company together with his father since 2021, will take over as sole CEO of the globally operating aluminium system manufacturer. As Hans Bruder puts it: "With the next generation, OCTANORM is perfectly prepared to meet the challenges of the future."

Together with the company founder Hans Staeger, Hans Bruder has been the leading figure in OCTANORM's more than fifty-year history. Since joining the company on 01.05.1978, he has played a major role in its international success. During the development of the partner network OSPI (OCTANORM Service Partner International) he impressed with his outstanding ability to establish valuable contacts. Over decades, he formed numerous sustainable connections that still exist today. With him, OCTANORM grew to become the world leader in the industry. In these 45 years, Hans Bruder was in charge of a total of 15 EuroShop appearances and 18 OSPI meetings. His always unwavering commitment, pioneering spirit and profound expertise have inspired and shaped not only the entire team, but business partners all over the world.

Now a new era begins: With immediate effect, his son Benjamin Bruder will continue the legacy. Like his father, he has a wealth of knowledge about the industry and brings a clear vision for the future of the company: "In the 4 years at my father's side, I had the chance and the opportunity to get to know our company and the industry at a very fast pace. Quality, service and reliability are just three of the many values that I have been given along the way. I will continue to hold on to them and drive them forward with respect. Now I am looking forward to a new chapter for me personally, as well as for OCTANORM. We will base our activities on two pillars - innovative system applications for exhibition and shopfitting as well as the cleanroom sector, which is an absolute growth market. With the backing and support of our shareholders, our committed and experienced team, and our worldwide partners, I am looking forward to leading our family business successfully into the future," says Benjamin Bruder.
