Take-Back & Recycling

ElektroG § 7a Take-back concep

According to the EU Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament and of the EU Council on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), or the revised version of the EU Directive, 2012/19/EU, there is an obligation to collect waste electrical and electronic equipment, treat it in accordance with the regulations, dispose of it and finance the process. According to the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act applicable in Germany (ElektroG), every manufacturer is obliged to provide a reasonable possibility for the return of old equipment for users other than private households.

OCTANORM-Vertriebs-GmbH assumes responsibility for its products and feeds them into a high-quality recycling process after use. For devices that have been used commercially or in public institutions - so-called B2B devices - we have provided convenient return and disposal solutions for you.

OCTANORM-Vertriebs-GmbH will take back waste electrical and electronic equipment and will organize its preparation for reuse, recycling and recovery. OCTANORM-Vertriebs-GmbH will cover all costs for treatment, recycling and recovery of the products originally put into circulation. In return, OCTANORM-Vertriebs-GmbH asks its customers to bear the costs for return transport of the old equipment.
